Then I got me some nail polishes because they were on sale! 2 Three Beauties Nail Lacquers in Iris Blue and Glitter Glitz, a Fuso Nail Enamel in in 90 (Mint Green), 2 Sasatinnie Super Dolly Fantasy Colour - Quick Dry in Q57 (Pastel Lilac) and a Sheer Turquoise Colour (no shade name or number) and 2 Eleanor Nail Enamels in ENP002 (Creamy White) and ENP052 (Sheer Golden Shimmery Off-White). I also got a box of 4 cute Sasa makeup sponges to try!

Haul: John Little

 

Here's another haul post where the items are gotten at different times at different John Little stores! I personally like looking at other people's hauls so wihout further ado, let's jump right in!

 

I got myself 3 nail polishes from L.A. Girl. I got 2 Matte Flat Finish Nail Colors in Matt Alpine Green and a purple one (the sticker with the shade name came off). The other one is its Rock Star Nail Lacquer in a sheer shimmering purple (again, the sticker came off). I also got myself a Studio Basics 75 Dual Tip Paddle/Point Applicators which can be used for eyes, lips and nails.

 

I got a BL556 Pink Silk Blusher from L.A Girl as well as a Crème Lipstick in Forbidden Love, a Milani Powder Mosaics in 02 Honey Kissed and Milani Glimmer Stripes All Over Color in 10 Berry Glimmer for face, cheek and eye color.

 

These Swisspers 30 Cleansing Eye Make-up Remover Pads are sold for $1.95 each, I had to try!

 

 

I also got me some eyeshadows! A Bourjois Ombre Stretch Ultra Stretchable Colour with Expert Brush in 02 Maxi Blanc and 2 L.A. Girl High Definition Eyeshadows in ES302 Tequila Sunrise and ES301 Pink Flamingo.

(YAY) Review: Pure Beauty Perfect Cleansing Water

 

I did a Pure Beauty haul post not long ago and this was the product which I had started using for quite awhile. Thus, a review is ready!

 

This Perfect Cleansing Water is meant for sensitive skin and I think it really is gentle on my skin. In fact, I love how it feels light and fresh, like water! I also love that it does not irritate my eyes when I use this to remove my eye makeup. I do need about 3 cotton buds to remove all my makeup with this though.

 

For just $5, I think this is a favourite! That's why I ended up buying 2 of these babies!

Haul: Birthday 2013

 

This birthday haul is definitely a late post as it happened in April. So let's get on with it.

 

I got beauty products from LaLine. It's a pretty new brand in the Singapore market and I have the chance to have these! All the products were wrapped nicely in the white basket containing a Body Brush, Bath Bomb, Vanilla Shower Cream and a pack of 25 Make offs Make Up Removing Wipes.

 

Next, I got The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam and a cute display that plays eerie music when I turn the I love you wheel.

 

The last beauty product is just as awesome! I got a Too Faced Glamour to Go Eye Shadow, Blush, Bronzer and Lip Gloss Palette.

 

Awww, aren't my friends just sweet?

Haul: Pure Beauty from Watsons

 

Just about one month ago, there was a Pure Beauty sale in Watsons, with each of the product in this line selling for $5. I knew it was a good chance to buy some skincare from Korea for $5. I bought 1 bottle of Perfect Cleansing Oil, 2 bottles of Perfect Cleansing Water (I'm using one currently), a Super Brightening Eye Gel, 2 Youth Restore Eye Cream with Black Pearl (I gave one away) and 2 Youth Restore Essence with Black Pearl.

 

I have started using the Perfect Cleansing Water for quite awhile. In fact, it's in my list of products I'm using currently. I will be giving you a review of it very soon. Stay tuned.

(YAY) Review: Daiso Makeup Remover Stick

 

Woah, I realised I do have a handful of Daiso beauty products! Here's another one! It's a makeup remover stick made in Taiwan. I remember way back I used to have the Revlon Makeup Eraser Pen. It was like a rounded rubber tip soaked with makeup remover solution. After using several times, it got really dirty and there was no way to wash it. Besides, it dried up pretty fast.

 

 When I saw this, I thought it was a dupe for the Revlon one. Nope, this is better.

 

It comes in a stick form and if I was to describe it, I would say that it is a wax stick. I used it mostly on smudges I have under my eyes, such as those from eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow. I go over my smudges with this and use a tissue to wipe away the smudges. It all comes completely off. It's a great quick touch-up on the go.

 

I never have to worry about it getting unhygienic as I can just wipe off the outer layer that came into contact with my skin. It's all clean again and I'm good to go!

 

If you are also having troubles on removing smudges on the go, you can try this instead of wasting one whole makeup wipe. It's only 2 bucks and does no irritate my skin nor near my eye area. Never thought a $2 stuff could be better than a brand like Revlon huh?

(YAY) Review: Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover

 

I don't know about you but I think Biore is the best drugstore makeup remover locally. That is a big claim but I only said this because I have tried most of their makeup remover and all of them works! After using the sample size of Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover, I fell in love immediately.

 

I love how I do not need a cotton pad and can remove my makeup so effectively with just this product and my bare hands. This is their latest product and they have one remover before this that also does not need cotton pad; Biore Hydra Clear Makeup Remover (blue packaging)

 

I would say that this is an improved version of the Hydra Clear one as a little of this goes a looong way. Since you need to pour this on your fingers to apply and gently rub and dissolve away the makeup, this jelly one makes it so much easier. The Hydra Clear one is too watery and will seep through your fingers and product is wasted.

 

I went in to get the full size. Now, I always refill the small bottle and bring it out with me when I am having stayovers or going overseas. I brought the small bottle over for my ten days trip to Korea/Hong Kong, and there was still leftovers! Saves a lot of trouble by not having to bring/using cotton pads, don't you think?
